Hi! I have been coloring my hair at home now to save money. I have a very hard time when I dye my hair just on the new growth. I can't get it on just that section without it getting onto the ends of my hair. This is casing my hair to break off on the ends and become very damaging. Thanks!!!

I have to go to the beauty supply store for bleach and have my roommate, mom, or friend do just my roots for me. I used to go to a salon to get it done, but it was sixty five bucks a pop, and now it's only eight. I did my own for a while, but I ended up getting it all over my hair, too, and it really damaged my hair, too. It's much healthier since I've been doing just the roots.

I have been coloring my hair blonde for so long I don't even know what my real color I just take the bottle and run it in the roots as well as i can and just leave the ends hang...if a little gets on there then it is better than full coverage ..I started using Herbal Essences Long term relationship- leave in split end protector...I love it
