Herbal medicines to increase milk supply?

I am pregnant with my last child and have 3 other children. With my last three children I had problems breastfeeding which caused my children to be hospitalized at 2 months for poor weight gain. I was told poor lactation runs threw my family and just recently learned I have a biological hormone disorder which causes poor lactation and eventually painfully drying up. My question is, how can I get around that? Are there any herbal medicines I could take to increase my milk supply and can I start now before the baby is born so my breasts can be ready to feed when the baby comes? This is my forth and last baby.

You could try Fenugreek 610mg. I was told by my lactation consultant that it helps some women increase milk supply. 3 capsules 3 times per day (don't worry- it smells like maple syrup). The only side effect I found was that it can make your urine smell like maple syrup. It may or may not work, but it is worth a try.... Also, try pumping at least every 2-4 hours (or hand expressing).
