Hi,

My baby is just 6 weeks old and for past 2 weeks she is struggling and cries terribly & pathetically while passing motion which makes me cry a lot :( :(
I took her to doctor but his medicines did not solve the problem.
Kindly help resolve this.

I second what Jessie is saying. It could very easily be a food intolerance. If you are breastfeeding, everything you eat passes through to your milk. The MOST common culprit is dairy (cow milk). Other strong possibilities are Soy, Egg, Wheat, Peanuts, Tree Nuts, Fish, or Shellfish. Those are the most common allergens, and chances are, if it's a food allergy or food intolerance it's one or more of those.
It really is amazing how many Dr's overlook food intolerance as a cause of infant distress. Especially when the distress is related to tummy, bowels, or reflux.
I'd suggest you cut dairy out of your diet for 2 weeks and see how she does. That means no milk, no cheese, no cream, no butter, no anything made with milk. It can be hard at first, but if it makes your baby feel better - SOOOOOOOOOOO worth it.

Is she on formula? she may be allergic or sensitive to the kind you are using.... Try switching formulas.. and if you are breastfeeding.. It may be something you are eating.. Hope this helps..
