14 mo. Eating enough Food?

Hey ladies:)

My 14 month old son is teething right now, 3 at once! He doesn't seem to want very many solid foods, and has taken to asking for the breast after every meal. Should I worry about his solid intake?

It's just the teething. He'll eat more once his gums are more comfortable. My son (almost 14 months) just finished a week of not really wanting to eat, not really wanting to drink. And this little porker's main joy in life is FOOD! It kind of worried me, even though I knew it was just teething, but now that the 2 molars have come through, he's back on track. :)

I agree with Teresa. My daughter didn't eat a whole lot of solids until she was about 15 months. Some days she ate alot other days she didn't eat much, but I nursed her on demand. It's comforting when their gums hurt.

As long as you allow him to breastfeed on demand.... nope, don't worry. :) There were many, many days at that age and older that my son didn't eat a bite of food. He's a happy, healthy almost 3 year old now.
