My two month old son wakes up practically every one to two hours to feed.I have tried cluster feedings in the evenings, nothing helps.Any one has any clues to how to get him to sleep at least for 4 hours at a stretch?

Been there. It is exhausting! It does get better. Just hang in there. I remember the only time I was able to get a 2 hr. Stretch was when i would drop my 4 yr old off at preschool the baby would fall asleep in her car seat and i would leave her in the seat...lay it by the couch and lay down and sleep until i had to pick my 4 yr old up. That was the only time she would sleep for 2 hrs. At one time. We made it through....she is now 12 yrs old. :)

What has always helped me and my baby is sleeping next to each other and latching her on laying there before she fully wakes. That way I can fall right back to sleep while she nurses and sleeps. Some people think frequent night feedings are unnecessary but that is a misinformed notion. Night milk has extra substances to help baby sleep and boost brain development. Also keeps your supply up. And comforting to baby who is learning that sleep is a nice state to be in. Hope this helps! :-) good luck and enjoy your little one , they grow so fast. Before you know it you will be missing these moments
