So I just gave birth to my second child just 3 weeks ago. And my 2 y/o old has been off breast milk for 3 months now. However, I was told recently that I since I produce so much milk I when I pump I can give her the breast milk in a cup. I think its a good idea and her dad is unsure. He thought it was weird I wanted to nurse till she was 2 anyways. I was looking for some opinions! You 2 cents please!

Ask him what's more weird, giving your child breast milk from her own mother or giving your child breast milk from a random cow?

Check out this site and have him read it too!:

You will probably encounter a lot of people that say it's weird. If she likes it and will drink it, it's perfectly fine! =)

Lol! That's too funny. I'm going to have to bring that to his attn. I never thought of that. Thank you for your opinion. I love it!

I think that sounds great. There are still a ton of benefits to continuing to breastfeed past 2 years, so feeding her breastmilk in a cup is like getting a glass of warm cow's milk (only 10x better and probably yummier). Ask your hubby if he thinks it's weird that we drink cow's milk in a cup. Isn't that meant for baby cows?
