My daughter is 14 months and i think i will let her stop when she is ready. There is no need for me to stop as i don't have to work,she doesn't bite me and i couldn't care less if other people think she is too old to bf. it's not like i do it out in public too often...it's mostly at home and no ones business but my own.

my daughter turned two in may and i had decided to do child led weaning although im recently changing my mind i know its a security thing for her n that doesnt bother me but she recently started pinching and biting and hurting almost everytime she eats so lately i have been trying to give her a little push into becoming more self reliant in her security issues even thought as long as she doesnt fight me when i tell her no boo i will still cuddle her bcuz it makes her feels safe ive noticed with her she is skin oriented for security while my son was much easier as he was usually a very independent child and depended on me for very little he seeked out methods of security that he could do all by himself {he still likes to sleep with his special blankey} {he is 5}
