Any tips to increase supply?

I am tandem nursing a 6 month old and 3 year old. I feel like I'm not making enough milk. How can I tell or how can I increase my supply?
I am trying to wean 3 year old, she's really down to nursing only twice a day (morning & nap) so I don't feel like she's the problem. Seems more like baby is growing and needing more. Maybe time for food?

First, we need to determine if there's truly a supply problem. Many moms look at the wrong thing to judge supply. The best way to judge is by diaper count. If your baby is getting 4-5 diapers at this age, your supply is fine. Supply works on supply and demand-more you nurse, the more you will make. Don't judge supply on baby's behavior, frequency of nursing, feel of breasts, pump output..

Drinking healthy nursing tea, and eating oatmeal are supposed to help naturally. The more stimulation the better.

Baby may be having a growth spurt, at 6 months you are okay to start feeding them baby food. Start with the cereals, rice, oat, barley and then wheat. Give the same cereal 4 days in a row to allow baby to start enjoying it, as well to also make sure baby doesnt have any allergies. Dont start with fruits first, veggies are always first because then you wont have issues when they are older to get them to eat their vegetables. Also, if you feel you want to increase your milk supply, you can buy Milkmaids Tea. It is made by Earth Mommy Angel Baby Organics, which you can buy it at any health foods store, or online. It works real quick. I used it shortly after i had my son by scheduled c-section i was engorged after 3-4 cups of it. And the tea bags are strong.enough to get 2 cups out of it. You can also buy fenugreek pills, again at a health food store.

Maybe try that out.

Much love, light and many blessings!

Baby may be having a growth spurt. Check out Kelly moms for more info on milk supply. If you give some more details on why you feel it's not enough it would be helpful. If you feel she's ready you can add some mashed banana.
