Are there any foods breastfeeding moms should avoid?

Not unless you notice something may be disagreeing with your baby. (except of course alcohol and other drugs.) If your baby is healthy, happy, growing, etc. Eat what you like.

If your baby is colicky, spits up ALOT or vomits frequently, or you have other concerns, you may want to try to figure out if it is a food sensitivity causing the symptoms.

There are a few foods like almonds and oatmeal that can help or increase your milk supply. Likewise there are a few foods that may adversely affect your supply if eaten regularly or in large quantities. These include rosemary, thyme, peppermint, spearmint, sage, and parsley.
