Super normal! Breastfed babies can go for days on end without pooping. Some do, some don't. No worries! Just make sure she has plenty of wet diapers. What a cutie! :)

im having the same problem my babys not quite 2 weeks so my last appointment with my midwife was at the hospital and she went and spoke to the doctors in the neonatal unit and they said she is just a slow pooer and not to worry as long as she is feeding well and weeing lots. i hope this has helped even still a mother its hard not to be a little concerned

After about 6 weeks it is normal for breastfed babies to go up to 14 days without pooping. As long as baby doesn't seem in any pain and the poops are still loose when baby does go then it's not a cause for concern. Baby could get gassy so Liz you may try gently bicycling babies legs. Her fussiness could be caused by gas.

However, I would be worried that your baby has only pooped twice. What color was the last poop? I would definitely check in with her doctor to be sure. My first daughter had a hard time passing the meconium. My mom, who's a nurse, did the thermometer trick (gently inserting the tip of a thermometer into baby's bum). This made her poop and she didn't have anymore issues. I would still check with the doctor though.

My daughter (8 weeks) is having this same problem! She is usually such a good baby, but it has been 3 days since she has gone and she is CRANKY! I know putting a tiny amount of juice in a bottle for them might help, but I'm nursing and she doesn't take a bottle, so that doesn't help me! I'll be watching this post for any tips other people have!
