Ok. This maybe too personal, and it's a little embarrassing for me. But I don't know who to talk to about this. I know that since I am breastfeeding that my hormones are higher or out of whack or what ever its called. I normally don't have too many mood swings, but I have big ones when it comes to having sex with my husband. It seems that I am always in the mood for sex. I mean I want it almost everyday. When my husband turns me down, I get all moody and upset. I keep telling myself that it's just the extra hormones, but I can't help but feel that he's not interested anymore. Which i am sure is not the case cause we still do have sex. I have tried new things in the bedroom to see if that helps, but it only helps a little. I've even take care of things by myself, but I am still in the mood the next day and even sometimes just a few hours later. I even done the deed myself and had sex with my husband in the same day, and still have these raging hormones. I am just wondering if this is normal? I have no idea. Is there something else that I can be doing? Should I talk to a doctor?

Wow..I wish I had a little of that hormone. I an NEVER in the mood and wish I would be, I am the one that is always turning my husband down. Don't let it bother you when he turns you down, and dont' take it personal. Good luck

oh my goodness, please don't worry about this! everyone's bodies react differently to the hormones...some women have a lower sex drive while nursing, some have a higher drive and both are normal. as long as you are not concerned about your husband still being attracted to you, your feelings of upset when he turns you down can be combated with mind over matter (easier said, than done, i know).

when he turns you down for whatever reason tell him playfully "fine, i'll take care of it myself while you are at work!" and give him a "you don't know what you're missing out on" kind of smile and leave it at that hahahah. there is absolutely nothing wrong with masturbation even if you find yourself doing it MORE than daily. hey, if it helps, it helps!
