Do not put cereal in a bottle. Solids, including cereals, should not be started until 6 months.

Let her nurse on demand. It's normal for babies to nurse frequently both for hunger and comfort. Maybe she's hitting a growth spurt. Clusterfeeding is also normal.

Check out the book or DVD Happiest Baby on the Block by Harvey Karp - might help with her fussiness.

If you feel stinging/burning in your nipples it may be thrush. Look inside your baby's mouth and see if she has white patches. If she does or you still think there's an issue give your doctor a call. They can prescribe some medicine to clear it up (if it's thrush). It's completely normal to feel less full. It just means your supply is regulating, but you still have all the milk your baby needs.

What's farax? It that like rice cereal? If so I would skip that especially in a bottle. That's probably what made her sick. Your little one may be going through a growth spurt. If she seems hungry feed her. You're just starting out so feeding her on demand will help establish a good supply. As far as soreness goes just make sure your latch is good every time. When you feel sore check your breast to see if there is a clogged duct.

i agree with no cereal until 6 months. She is probably needing more to eat which is why she is hungry. How many hours go by in between each feeding? My daughter were nursing every 2 hours or even every 1.5 hours up until 1.5 months. Then we were able to get to every 3 hours.

Good luck and I would just keep on breastfeeding.

My LO did the hungry thing, but it was her thinking she was hungry when it was belly pain from colonizing bacteria in her gut (normal, and happens at 2-6 weeks, just gotta wait it out). I don't know what farax is, but I'd stick to nursing only if she is growing normally. Gripe water helped with the belly pain. My one boob gets sore if it gets too full, is this what you're getting? Otherwise it could be a plugged duct which is usually solved by a good nurse on that side.
