I have been feeding my daughter for 9 months now, and these past few months she really has not been eating much from me, more from her organic baby food, but still I BF her to put her to sleep.

And last night she fell asleep rather fast, and today I had to leave her most of the day with her grandma, giving my breast time to fill up(This has happend many times before), and when my daughter attached herself again, I have been sore in one breast, and it's horrible, and I don't know why. She couldn't empty it, and I had to give her the other breast so she would fall asleep. Not even a bra can help ease the pain that gravity as ahold of it.

Please help, What can I do?? And why did this happen? It's never happend before.

thank you for reading !!

It sounds like you may have a clogged duct or possibly the beginnings of mastitis. Feel around for a lump. Put a hot compress on the affected breast and massage it while she's nursing. She's under one year so she should be getting more nutrition from breast milk than from food. Offer the breast more often and nurse before offering solids. By offering more often it will also help loosen the clog.
