Hello I need some advice on what to do or if its to late to increase my milk supply. My son was born almost a month early and was in the NICU for a week while his lungs were fully developed. While he was in there i would pump and bring him a supply every night but the most i ever got was 80ml. I had the engorged breasts however no leaking. When i brought him home my supply is close to nothing. I have to squeeze my nipples to get drops out. I have taken fenugreek and Mothers Milk tea and seen a little increase but not much. He is 2 months old and am very upset and really want to breastfeed. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions for me? I would be very appreciative for any feedback. Thanks!

At this point lots of skin to skin and staying hydrated as best you can may help. Have you sought the help of a lactation consultant? Changed pumps? Also, when I went back to work and had to pump, I kept photo a of my baby right with me and pictured him nursing, I also kept a receiving blanket of his with me too.

Thanks for your quick feedback. I havent spoken to a lactation consultant yet, but will for sure do that. I will start doing more skin to skin even while not nursing also. I am a stay at home mom so I have the time to do that. Thanks for your suggestions, I appreciate it very much. I also changed pumps too.
