My midwife told me that you make more milk every pregnancy. I bet you will be able to exclusively breastfeed this time. We aren't having any more kids but I would love to just to find out if that's true, among other things of course!

Congratulations Jaclyn! I managed to nurse my daughter until 2, although she needed formula until she was ready for solids. I'm hoping to have another baby soon and maybe, just maybe, I'll be able to exclusively breastfeed this time.

I had a reduction when i was 19 and the doctor told me I wouldn't be able to breastfeed and I couldn't feed my son(first baby). I think I didn't have great support but I just had my 2nd child and my midwife monitored how it was doing and we realized that I could still breastfeed but would need to supplement with formula. I still breastfeed with an added couple of bottles a day and it is still goes great. If anything I am producing more milk now than in the beginning!

iv never had a breast reduction myself but a friend of mine did and she managed to bf her son for a while the only draw back she had was that she reverted back to the size she was before the reduction
