I have been BF my son since birth and have had less than support from my husband. He recently told me it was perverted to BF our 23mo son. (his comment made me sick to my stomach) I have gone around and around with him on this issue. I have asked him to research the subject and he tells me he has and it's not good for me to keep BF. HELP! I don't know how to convince him that i'm not breastfeeding to be spiteful, I am BF because it's good for our son and for me.

I would very politely tell your husband where to go. It is YOUR decision to breastfeed & it is NOT a sexual act at all. If he thinks it is perverted, then HE is the one with the problem, not you. If anyone thinks you feeding your child is sexual in any way, THEY have the issue.

He went online and did the research and started quoting all the benefits...I was in shock. He told me he doesn't know why he thought it was wrong. ???

He obviously HASN'T done his research if he still thinks it's wrong and perverted. Maybe print out the research you want him to see and review it with him. Tell him how much it hurts you for him to make those comments.
