My child is only a month old and i need to go back to work, is it okay to give her a formula milk in the morning and I will continue breastfeeding at night? Are there any suggestions so I can continue breastfeeding even when I work?

Can you pump? You would have to invest in a good electric pump - medela (is really the best) and start pumping at work every two hours I would say, because it is very early on in your breastfeeding journey. Good luck

Do you have a pump, can you get one? My daughter is almost 2 and although she's self weening now I have worked full time outside the home since she was 3 months old.

When I first returned to work I pumped 2 or 3 times a day every 3 hours or when I could squeeze it in. I only needed 10-15 minutes to pump. Because I also had an hour commute I was away from my daughter 12+ hours. I had to supplement with one bottle of formula a day, or my husband did.

Your body will regulate so if you are only bf'ing at night your body will produce for night time only. The problem moms run into is baby starts to prefer bottle over breast so I used a wide nipple bottle and never switched off the 0-6month nipples.

One other thing to remember is make sure you are staying hydrated while you are away from baby. I used to take 2 1 liter bottles filled with water to drink everyday.
