Baby magic tea is the best natural way to relieve newborns from constipation and if the mom is breastfeeding she should also drink this tea to pass its contents through their breast milk.

Sarah does make a good point. How are you judging that he's constipated? Are his poops hard and very formed when he poops, or does it seem that he's having trouble getting them out… but when he does poop it is soft?

How often does he have poppy diapers? If he is having at least one dirty diaper a day then he is ok and it is most likely not constipation. Newborns will often squirm, cry, grunt, etc. when going poop as their body is not use to it and it feels uncomfortable to them. Most exclusively breastfed babies do not get constipation. If you are worried the best thing would be to call your doc.

Then it's got to be from something you're eating. Every thing you eat passes through to your milk. Read that page I provided a link to in my first post.

Is your son exclusively breastfed? No bottles of formula or anything else extra? If so, it may be that he's sensitive to something that you are eating. Wheat, Milk, Eggs, Soy, etc.

If you feed him any amount of formula, it could be something in the formula.
