Hi Ladies, my daughter is now 7 months and has started pushing against me with her free hand when breastfeeding because of this my breasts have become very sensitive. I was just wanting to know if anyone knows why she might be going this? Thank you

Babies are weird and they do funny things :p Try giving her something to distract her - wear a nursing necklace, give her a toy, etc. Usually that helps :)

i don't know why she is doing it but my daughter does it sometimes to... she also wanders around with her hands pulling my hair and stuff. but if i give her something to play (like a cord from my sweater or my hand) she usually plays with that and doesn't annoy me... maybe try to give her something in her free hand.

Eric does this to me too, it hurts! He seems to do it more when he is falling to sleep and I assume it's cuz he wants to comfort suck but he keeps getting milk!
I have a fast flow so I think he gets more milk then he wants at bed time so he tries to suck just the nipple so he isn't getting as much.
Yes it hurts! I usually pull him off for a second and then distract his hand with something else.
Don't worry! It won't last forever!
