I recently put a post, about a debate, whether I was going to be able to breast feed, or go to formula for my 8 month old daughter.
I just thought of the fact that i've been taking fenugreek.
Would Fenugreek, cause fussyness or problems with my daughter, so she would be refusing to nurse?
I've been taking it for about 2 weeks.

I had supply issues since my baby birth and was struggling hard to establish a good milk supply but fenugreek, power pumping, oatmeals nothing worked until I started drinking "Healthy Nursing Tea" that is an herbal natural supplement and now I am successfully bfing my son since one year.

I had the same problems with my daughter when I was taking fenugreek. She was really gassy and extremely fussy. I had to cut it out entirely. I just started drinking a lot more fluids to ensure my milk supply stayed up. I think the actual purpose for fenugreek is to do with digestion.

Fenugreek can make your baby gassy. I would stop it if you think it even COULD be the culprit, and just nurse nurse nurse. No bottles, limit the solids, and just let your lo nurse your supply to where it should be.
