My son is 8 months today and I would like to introduce some finger foods. I've seen the puffs and other finger foods that disolve in a baby's mouth, but I'm not so sure about the ingredients. Some have artificial flavors as well, which we are totally against. What types of finger foods have some of you used for your baby?

This question is for Sherree.... While your daughter chewed on the celery stick did bit and pieces come off? When my daughter chewed on it pieces were coming off.... So I took it away for her.... I didnt want her to choke... I'll try the carrots, they seem more harder to have pieces falling off... Any other advice?

My son liked cut up fruits and softer veggies when he was younger. We also did some organic crackers and cereals that could be eaten dry.

I've been letting my daughter chew on celery sticks and carrot sticks for teething since 5 months... but I guess those aren't really "foods" since she's not swallowing any of it.
