I am trying to figure out what foods to eat that won't cause my newborn gas. It has been 3 Weeks St. that she has gas every single day. I have tried eliminating things for my diet, but it seems like there's always something that causes her gas and pain. I would like to know what moms would eat while breast-feeding that will keep them healthy and the baby happy. Currently I eat honey bunches of oats with vanilla almond milk for breakfast, canned chicken noodle soup and a banana for lunch and dinner is always the hardest. I am currently trying to cook chicken noodle soup or beef stew in my crockpot for dinner. I'm thinking of cutting out the cereal, but I don't know what else to eat. It seems like eggs might cause gas too, (ps, I'm lactose intolerant.) HELP!

Your very welcome. I know what you mean about the dairy foods. It is very difficult to find alternatives. Good luck :-)

Thank you for the breakfast ideas. I was not sure what to do. I don't drink milk because I am lactose intolerant, but I'm trying to eliminate food with dairy too, it is so hard. But I will do anything to help my LO!

Try to cut back on the greasy foods and dairy intake. I know milk does the body good, but there is such a thing as in too much dairy. Try eating a bagel with honey or a biscuit with honey. Honey is really good for you and its all natural. Peanut butter toast is another good healthy breakfast food, too. I had a lot of problems with both of my girls being very gassy as well, but when I made those changes their bodies started to change for the better too. They stopped being gassy and fussy. They turned in to happier babies again. Oh, as far as the milk your drinking, try orange juice or some other kinds of breakfast juices or you could make your own juice. I hope this helps you like it helped me back when mine were newbies.
