hi everyone... i'm just wondering how your baby sleeps for the first few hours of the night? mine goes in a cot between 6 30 and 8 30 and i bring her to bed at about half 12 when she has her first feed, sometimes she doesnt need a feed, just is used to coming into bed at that time, as soon as she cuddles into me she's fast asleep, bless her! she's ten months old! thanks for any replies ladies!

My son is probably the worst sleeper ever! lol He used to sleep through the night. From about 3 weeks to 3 months he slept at least 8 hours uninterrupted every night. And then he started teething... what a nightmare! Ever since then its a night by night thing for him. Some nights he will sleep pretty good and then the next night he will wake up 5 times. He doesn't necessarily want to feed he just wakes up and tosses around for a while then falls back to sleep. Usually he will lay down around 7pm and is always awake by 4am if not earlier. I feed him at that time and then he'll sleep for another 2-3 hours.
Long story short, I wake up at least once every night but on average its 2 to 3 times every night.
This is all quite new to me as my oldest would sleep for 12 hours a night pretty much from 1 month of age until present. He was a great sleeper. I guess they really are all different! lol

My son is 2.5 yrs old. He had co-slept with us since birth and about two months ago I transitioned him into his bed. I put him to bed around 8:30pm and he will stay there until about 3 am when he will want to nurse. I'm trying to get him to stay in his bed through the night, but being 9 months pregnant I'm to tired to put him back. When he was a newborn he'd start in his cradle and then end up in our bed because it was easier. Hope to help. :)
