Growth Spurts

I think my 14 week old is having another growth spurt - it has really worn me out this time, she is nursing every hour at the moment and I am exhausted and getting nothing else done, I hope its over soon. I thought she must be ready for solids coz she is always hungry, even just after she has been fed but I've been told by plunket it is probably a growth spurt - I hope its over soon. How long do growth spurts normally last?

In younger babes, the growth spurts are usually not that long. My youngest is now 4 months old and the longest one we've had was 9 to 12 days long, the shortest was about 3-4 days. He is just now starting to want other foods, my health nurse is recomending no solids until 6 months! Hope this helps...
