how often should a six month baby breastfeed ?

A six month old baby should still be nursing pretty frequently. Not as much as when baby was a newborn, but still a lot. Solids should be minimal at 6 months and breastmilk still should be the main source of nutrition. You should still be nursing on cue/demand. Some 6 month olds are sleeping through the night, but many are not yet. Continuing to nurse during the night is still healthy for your baby.

How often are you nursing? Are you concerned about breastfeeding too much, or not enough?
