What you express is not the same as what your baby takes in. Babies are much more efficient than any pump. Breastfed babies can take anywhere from 2-3 oz or so.

As long as your baby is getting 6-8 diapers, your supy is fine. Don't judge supply by baby's behavior, pump output, feeling of breasts.

As far as pump output, average output is 1/2 to 2 oz TOTAL. So your 1 oz output is fine. As an aside, i nursed twins and couldn't get 4 oz!

Eat oatmeal it helps with milk production . I'm sure your baby is getting enough, just normal to worry :)

hi clark.. while gng outing i express hand to store in feeding bottle... during tat time it wil take 15 min to get 1 oz.. otherwise i feed my baby directly in breast.. sometimes i feel confused tat my baby is getting enough milk or not.. i need to increase my flow supply.. already am having fenugreek and garlic to increase the supply.. usually how much oz baby takes during every feed??? is 1 oz is normal? i read many moms experience that they get 4 to 6 oz at every hand expression..

Do you mean increase output? 1 oz is pretty normal, especially if you're manually expressing. How often are you expressing? Is baby at the breast? Keep in mind that hand expression is not indicative of supply.
