I only pump and bottle feed, but only my milk, but I have had two blocked ducts, and now I have early mastitis which is being treated with antibiotics. But the last day I haven't been able to pump more than 20ml from that side, the other one is ok, Im just worried my supply will go down and the demand up and I wont be able to keep up. Does anyone have any ideas on what I could do? Anyone has went through this?

I went through this with my daughter because she got thrush. I had to go onto a hormone pill called domperidone or Motilium. It helped me increase my milk supply once the infection was gone. I was able to breastfeed her for awhile longer.

With my situation though eventually I just couldn't keep up with her demand. With my son it was just an issue of not meeting his demand. I had enough milk but he was always hungrier and eventually he pushed away from breastfeeding and went soley on formula.

Talk with a lactation consultant they are excellent at giving assistance with this.

Good luck
