I have been breastfeeding my son for 15 months now, and I think it's time to start the weaning process... Any tips on what helped you turn this into a smooth transition?!

Hey ladies! I need your help/suggestions on how to begin this bitter sweet process. My son doesn't sleep through the night because he still wakes up to feed. If you have any tips on what you did please share. Breastfeeding is hard work kuddos to you mamas that breastfeed until baby is two! xoxo

I used Dr. Jay Gordon's sleep methods to night wean my daughter. You may want to try that.

Though for the record - I tried it when my LO turned 1, and it didn't work well. When I tried it again close to her 2nd birthday it worked very well.
And speaking of sleeping through the night. My oldest daughter started sleeping through the night around 17 months old with no sleep training. My 2nd didn't start sleeping through the night till closer to 3 yrs old - though I did successfully night wean her around 2 yrs old. She'd still wake up one or more times per night and I'd pat her back or just quietly tell her to go back to sleep and she would go back to sleep most nights.
