i need desperate help finding a birth control that works for me and my husband. i am still breastfeeding which means i really dont want anything with estrogen in it, and i am so sensitive to hormones period. i was on the mini pill first and i litteraly went crazy i had mood swings and i heard voices. come to find out it was only ment for short term. then i was on the IUD, my husband got a scar from it, and i had massive cramps. now i am on the diaphram, but my husband some how got pinched by it. so now we are using the famouse pull and pray which i know is not birth control lol. i dont know what to do.

its my cervix, its so sensitive to anything being placed in there. and i would use condoms but i am constantly thinking to myself "is it in yet" lmfao. i would use the calender method but i have no idea yet if my periods are normal had a normal one last month so still waiting.

How regular are your cycles? If you're dedicated, you can try the Fertility Awareness Method, with abstaining or condoms during your fertile period. I think it's easy myself, but it's something you have to be committed to, or there will be "accidents."

I've used it for years and years, because I hated the Pill -- tried several different kinds and always felt irritable and slightly nauseous.

Anyway, it involves monitoring your cycle, taking your temperature every morning when you wake up, charting the temps, and monitoring "down there" to see whether your cervical mucous is the fertile kind or not. After a while, it becomes second nature.

I also used this method to get pregnant.

lmao!! pull and pray??? I love it..I've never heard it put like that.

Well, I think you are definately are right ..you HAVE to get on something or you'll be changing your profile to mother of 2.

I have had an IUD on and off between our children and never had a problem with it. I had the copper one with no hormones and fully intend to get it again after this baby is born. It sounds like your IUD wasn't installed properly. To me it seems like the doctor didn't cut the wires short enough...honestly I would go with it again if I were you and see how it goes with a different install.
