My daughter is a little over a year old (13 months to be exact) and I would like to start breaking her of breast feeding. I told myself just make it to 6 months, then 6 months turned into when she gets teeth (she now has 10!!) and teeth turned into just get to one year.
SO here we are one month past a year and I am DONE!! I enjoy the bond we have and the special moments she walks up to me with a blanket to show me she knows what she wants. I didnt breastfeed my older daughters so this is all new to me.
I usually feed her in the morning then in the afternoon and to put her to sleep at night. Also during the night she uses me to passify herself back to sleep. I wouldnt say she eats during the night casue usually when i feel a letdown she pulls off not to long after.

I heard that when you begin to resent breastfeeding you should start and like i said before i enjoy the bonding we get to have but i am pretty done with this.
Any advise, tiral and errors, tips and anything else you can throw at me would be great. thank you.

Yes, if it's not enjoyable for you, and it sounds like it's not, I'd go ahead and wean. Nursing is a two way street.

I have never weaned any of my kids this early but I would start slowly. Here are some weaning techniques:

Good luck! Congrats on nursing for a year!
