My Dr put me on Nora-BE since I am breastfeeding. But Im not sure if I feel comfortable taking it....since "Nora-BE and other progestin-only oral contraceptives stop ovulation in only about half of the women who take them.Because Nora-BE is only 50 percent effective at preventing ovulation, it must rely on other mechanisms to prevent pregnancy." What has everyone else experience been with Nora-BE and should I keep on taking it or switch to a new pill? Please help.

I'm taking Nora be and two months postpartum exclusively breastfeeding and just recently went back to work so I'm having to pump...I have been bleeding basically since I gave birth and just started these pills about two weeks ago. I heard with breastfeeding you don't have a period but I guess I'm wrong...I hear that not taking anything with breastfeeding can decrease your chances of getting pregnant but what method outside of not having sex is 100%!
