Hi I was just wondering if anyone know's if there are any benefits to giving a older child pumped milk? With my daughter I had trouble with latch my breast got engorged and the ended up giving her formula at the hospital without my consent so with lack of support and recovering from a Emergency c-section I ended up being unable to breast feed her. I am about to have my second baby and will not take no for a answer this time when it comes to breast feeding and have awesome support at the hospital I am delivering. But I was thinking about giving my older daughter who is 4 1/2 pumped breast milk in like cereal and such. Will this have any good effects on her? she has allergy's and has been getting sick a lot since starting school and I was told it could help her immune system but I can't find much info online about it.

Thank you ♥

there are many cultures in the world that breastfeed part time 4 yr old kids...i do,and older for bonding and affection...we moms must reject the beleifs od society that teach that breasts are obscene sex objects, some moms give sessions to their kids much older than 4.........a very beautiful bond and affection

I agree wit the others. Breast milk is far better than cow milk at every age. If you have enough supply, so you give it in the cereals of the older daughter. :-)
