is it safe for me to breastfeed while pregnant?

My daughter is 40 weeks old and when she gets to one my partner and i are planning on trying to extend our little family! i've read that breastfeeding while pregnant can be safe, but you should avoid it if youve miscarried before, had a prem baby or have had bleeding during a pregnancy. when i was 28 weeks pregnant i had some bleeding because i had a urine infection and the doctors said the the neck of the womb started to soften (i think?) anyway, it was all fine. but i'm worried that if i breastfeed while pregnant it will cause problems? i really want to have another baby soon but i dont want it to compromise my daughter... so i dont want to have to wean her intentionally before shes two.... but at the same time i dont want to have to wait a whole year to get pregnant? any suggestion? thanks!

it should be safe just make sure you take your prenatals and get all the nutrients you need :)

What I've heard is it's only unsafe if you've had a history of preterm labor. Doubtful that breastfeeding during pregnancy would cause problems for you. I breastfed through my entire 2nd pregnancy. Good luck to you!
