Is vitamin D drops r good for healthy growth of breast feeding babies

Vitamin D is made by the body naturally if you are exposed to sunlight. However, in areas where there's not a whole lot of sunlight during the winter, and even if there is, you are so bundled up your skin isn't exposed to the sunlight Vitamin D deficiencies do occur, and it would probably be wise to take a supplement... for you and for baby. Also, putting sunscreen on in the summer not only blocks harmful UV rays, it also blocks your ability to absorb that sunshine and make vitamin D. Again, supplement might make sense.
