Does anyone use the milk storage bags by lansolinoh in the playtex drop in bottles? the gerber brand milk storage has directions but the lansolinoh's don't. I hear the gerber ones leak and the lansolinoh's are better quality but I want to use the playtex drop in bottles for when I express my milk. Help!!!

You can't just put the lansolinoh bag in teh playtex drop in bottle.  They don't fit and the top wont secure on the bottle properly.  Sorry!

You can freeze breastmilk into ice cube trays to save money and when all the cubes are full you just pop them out into a regular ziplock bag and put in the back of the freezer. When you need to make a botle just take out the number of cubes you need (you will know how much is in a cube by how many ounces you poured in and you don't have to remember because each cube is the same size).  This way you don't have to keep buying lansolinoh bags and you can spend the money on the drop ins which you do need to use the drop in bottles.

I have tried both, but I perfer the lansolinoh ones more. Only reason is b/c it has the double freezer lock. I never had either one break on me. It's all what you perfer.

out of curisoty, why don't you use the playtex storage bags? I didn't use the drop ins but the ones that come in a roll. I really liked them. The only thing that you have to worry about is storage. Basically, don't fill them too much. I filled a maximum of 5 oz. then I carefully folded the top down and put a small clip on the top. I let it start to freeze, making sure it was standing up, in the door of the freezer and then a couple hours later I would transfer the bag into a bigger ziploc bag in the back of the freezer. I read somewhere that it stays longer and better this way.

When defrosting I would put the bag with the clip in a cup either on the counter or in the fridge so that it would stay upright and not topple over and leak.

Good luck!
