My cycle returned at 6months and since then whenever I'm due on my milk decreases for the week before this time to the extent that my sons nappies are not that wet. He doesnt look dehydrated but Im concerned that my milk is going and I'm going to have to supplement soon. He's not on much solids yet. He's 8mths next week and has been ebf since birth. He hates if I pump and won't take a cup very well. I dont want to have to resort to bottles now.

He's my third child, first I've got this far with. I'd really like to get past one with him. I've ordered some mothers milk capsules and tincture and have calcium/magnesium tabs. Any help will be very welcome. I'm very determined.x

I'm onto my third now which has come quicker than last one. I've offered more often but he will only stay on very briefly. Does that matter? I need to get more fenugreek. Just taken my last five today in last ditch effort!

The few times that my period returned I took fenugreek as soon as I noticed a dip in supply. It is only temporary and it sounds like your regular mine was sporadic so it was tough to know when it was going to return.

Your period can cause a dip in supply but it's temporary. The best way to combat this is to nurse more often!
