Has anyone tried Mother's Milk Tea? Trying to boost my supply to meet baby's demand.

During my first year of nursing I would use mother's milk tea every time I noticed a drop in my supply. I could tell because I was pumping at work. I would boil a big pot of water and put the teabags in and add a little sugar for taste. After I would put it in water bottles and drink that instead of water during the day for about three days and it always increased my supply. I'm sure part of the effect was just that I was hydrating better. I tried fenugreek once but it upset my stomache and the tea worked well enough on its own.

I do use it and love it! My husband will make me some every now and then, which shows me that he cares and is encouraging me to keep nurishing our son. I notice that if I have been stressed or haven't had enough water to drink my milk supply is down. My son is 11 months old and I am still breastfeeding only. I have been fortunate to not have to pump or suppliment, and I believe a lot has to do with Mother's Milk Tea. I do find that it makes me thirsty, which may be part of the idea behind those herbs. Also, try drinking a cold glass of water as you are breastfeeding everytime. The more water the better, and keep caffine to a low roar, it dehydrates you. Good luck!

Healthy nursing tea worked great! Doubled my milk supply! The only downside is it does not taste the best, but it’s do-able. You do have to drink at least 3 cups of it per day to keep the supply up, but it has been a life saver for my daughter!

There is an Herbal Supplement that is called More Milk Plus by Motherlove. It is amazing! It is like drinking 6 cups of Mothers milk tea but you just have to do 2 or 3 droppers full of it. I know alot of moms who have been helped by this. You can get it online at it is pricey but worth it!

I drink the tea. I had to go back to work part time and wanted to make sure my time away didn't effect my milk supply. So far so good. And it tastes pretty good.

Yes and I really like the taste. I have to be careful not to drink too much or else I'll have an oversupply problem and the baby gets squirted in the mouth and starts gasping and swallowing air, etc.

I drink mothers milk tea and it works very well for me. I also take 3 fenugreek 3 times a day. That will really boost your milk supply. Also, drink a lot of water and that should help.
