My daughter wont drink my expressed milk if I go out anymore

Annika - posted on 08/25/2010 ( 2 moms have responded )

I am breastfeeding and a couple of times I have gone out for a couple of hours I have expressed. Originally my daughter took the bottle but not she wont take it at all. Does anyone have any ideas of how to overcome this?

I agree how old is your daughter? It could be the nipple type. My daughters sometimes would stop interest in a particular nipple. or maybe the temp of the milk, such as , my daughter will not take milk unless it is warm, not room temp. Try different nipples, or temp or whatever. I swear each time you get a phase figured out they change and you are guessing all over again....good luck

How old is she? If she's willing to wait, why worry? If she gets distraught, maybe try another bottle, or a sippy cup?
