I have had to wrestle with that feeling twice before and will deal with it again soon this year. Its nothing you have done wrong. But it is hard when you dry up before you want to. That happened with mt first child and I felt tremendous guilt. But the reality is,they will never remember any of this, and will love you all the same no matter what. You have done him no wrong or harm. You are an individual woman and your body has its own unique ticks.Even after months of breastfeeding I still felt the sting of sadness and guilt over the end of the breastfeeding relationship. But my kids are bright, strong and happy nonetheless, and have had many more bonding experiences with them since the end of those precious days.Try to focus on all the bonding oppertunities that lie ahead for the two of you. They are so worth the wait but they are fleeting. So stop beating yourself up. You are a good mom. He would have nothing to laugh or giggle about if you had really let him down:)chin up,doll.

How did you determine that you dried up? Many times, moms look at the wrong things and mistakenly think something's wrong with their supply.

Not knowing the situation, I can relate. I mistakenly thought my milk wasn't enough for my daughter. I did what I thought was best at the time, and that's all I can do!
