My son is almost 5 months and eating solids like crazy but how do I keep up my milk supply?

My son is almost 5 months. We've been giving him solids for about a month but I think he may be relying on those and causing my milk to dry up. How do I get my supply back but still continue introducing him to solids and getting him used to those? At what point can he just rely on solids?

Solids in the first year are just for fun and should not be used as a replacement for breast milk or formula. They should only be offered after your child has been breast fed. If you are concerned about your supply stop feeding solids for a few days and breast feed on demand, once you start building your supply back up you can reintroduce solids but as I stated only after you breast feed.
