I have a 4 day old and my milk supply just came in. Now, my baby spit up twice today. He wants to eat often and he controls how much. I feel like he always wants to eat, but then today he seems that he overate. Is this normal when you milk first comes in?

It could be an overactive letdown. Check out this site about overactive letdown. It also gives tips on what to do to help - if in fact that is the problem.

A newborn baby should be eating pretty frequently. You should probably be nursing AT LEAST 10 to 12 times per day (24 hours) during the first week. And at least 8 - 12 times per day during weeks 2 - 6. You CAN'T nurse too often - you CAN nurse too little.
