I just had a little girl on Tuesday. She was 10lbs 2oz and 21inches long, yeah a big baby lol. The first day she was born they started on similac fussiness and gas to keep track of her sugar, which is fine.

I started to try to breast feed and though she latches on she gets impatient. So now that I have milk flowing I have been pumping. I try to feed her my breast milk but she spits it out and starts crying over and over until I give in and give her formula.

No idea what to do since I decided to breast feed for her sake and my own. Is there anyway to make my breast milk appealing? Anything I can safely add for a newborn? The first 2 days she did have some without a fuss ... now she's being a diva. I never had this problem with my son so im lost. Any and all help is appreciated.

Ive done both. Today she latched on and was there a moment or two but she gets fussy and cries and wont drink even tho I have a lot of milk. When I pump she'll drink a little and then spit it out. If I give her formula she wont even let us remove the bottle. So im at a loss :-/

When you say you feed her your breastmilk, are you putting her to breast, or is this via bottle?
