Night time weaning?

My little one is 6 months old. He has a normal bed-time schedule every night... he goes to bed around 8:30 and sleeps until about 11. He wakes up to eat and goes right back to sleep... then an hour 1/2 later he wakes up to eat again.. then again every hour and 1/2 after that until he gets up at 7-8 in the morning. I'm SO tired! .... and I have so much to do during the day that I don't have time to nap with him during the day anymore.
I've tried to just tap or rub his back to put him back to sleep and reinserting his noonie... but he will just start screaming until I feed him. Usually after the first two times of him waking up I bring him in bed and nurse him lying down, cause I'm so tired!
I just wish I could get at least 5 hours straight of sleep!
I was thinking maybe to try to wean him from night-time feedings so he will sleep longer? but I'm not sure how to do that! .... and I don't want to just leave him in his bed crying until he cries himself to sleep. Any other options?

Also, he got his two bottom teeth about a month ago... but he has been doing this for at least the last two months. When his teeth broke through it did not seem to help his sleeping!

Suggestions Please? =)

My son started the same pattern and I had my husband start to get up at the times that were in between feeding times, he just wanted to be soothed.  It is hard when they smell you because they won't calm down until you put them on your breast - and this creates a pattern of waking up constantly every night.  My son is now back on track with only waking to be fed! Good luck
