Nursing Blouses...

Does anyone have any suggestions for finding nice-looking nursing tops? I just haven't found any in the department stores, and I'm getting rather frustrated! I've been covering with a blanket & just lifting my shirt to nurse my 3-week old, but I'd rather find some fashionable tops.

What are y'all wearing? Any suggestions are appreciated.

I don't have any nursing tops (though I've seen affordable ones at My cousin made me what she calls the "Hooter Hider". It's similar to an apron- it ties around your neck and goes down to your hips. The best part is there is boning in the top, so it allows you to see your baby nursing. I've seen similar things at babies r us, but don't know what they are really called.

Try a bella band and instantly any shirt becomes a nursing top, kind of similar to the previous post - it covers up your belly, without being too complicated. The one actual nursing top that I do like is by Japanese Weekend and it crisscrosses in front, so you can easily pull it up or down to nurse. I found it at a maternity boutique, you can wear it before and after pregnancy, so if you plan on having more it's a good investment.

Hi Marcie! I am nursing my second. Right now I just wear nursing tanks I found at Target underneath a regular shirt. Then I can just lift the shirt, and the tank covers my belly. The straps unclip just like a nursing bra. Target has the tanks in lots of colors. I'd rather wear regular clothes than nursing tops most of the time.
