My son is now 9 weeks I've been breast-feeding really well up until yesterday. I have always had plenty of milk supply to the point of my son getting cross because it comes out so fast he can't keep up. I woke up this morning and my boobs didn't feel the usual fullness they normally do. Still throughout the day haven't felt the same. Could I be loosing my milk supply or will it come back ?? :-( would like to continue to feed if I can. Anyone experienced this please help:-)

I had the same scare when I was nursing my son. Don't worry, your milk supply is not dependent on how full your breasts feel. Check and count your baby's diapers to make sure he's eating enough. He should have around 2-3 stools a day (this gets less after 6 months) and 5-6 pee diapers. Visit the website for BabyCentre and look for the link "How to tell whether your baby's getting enough breast milk." I found it extremely helpful.
If your baby seems content and calm after nursing, he probably had enough. Trust me, if he's still hungry and you didn't have enough milk, you'd know :)

It is only at first your breasts will feel big & full. As time goes on they will return to normal but they will still produce just as much. Just remember though, they absolutely work on supply-on-demand terms! Feed, feed & feed! If you are working or unable to feed as often pump them even if it means dumping what you don't need. As soon as you stop using them as often your supply will slow up. Breast feeding is amazing because you really can't overfeed a baby. Your milk & the level of nutrients in it changes constantly throughout the day as it knows (nature is amazing) how much your baby needs at the time. Do yourself a favor and feed as often as possible because switching to formula can be depressing. I had to when mine was 3 months old (because of medicine I had to start) and the bottle game is miserable! Keep in mind stress & worry can really affect your supply as well. You really have to try your best not to stress about it- people in every country & from all times fed their babies by breast no problem- alot of moms stress so much about their capabilities that they make their bodies stress & shut down the natural process. Be happy & feed your baby as often as you can. You are doing great!

No, your supply is likely fine. It may have regulated. Never judge supply on the way your breasts feel. Floppy breasts are working breasts. You do NOT want full hard breasts. That will actually slow production. As long as he's getting enough diapers, your supply is fine!
