I pump and it was pink with blood I need the milk for the days he is in daycare the other days I feed him directly from the boob
Question: 1. can I still use the milk!
2. How long and how can I speed up healing process ?

Thanks :(

If there's a small amount of your blood in the milk, you CAN still feed that milk to your baby - assuming you don't have an illness or disease that could be transmitted via blood.

Breast Milk Safety
La Leche League's "The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding" concurs that breast milk with blood in it usually is safe. There are some exceptions to this rule, however. Women with HIV/AIDS should not give their babies breast milk containing blood. If you recently have suffered from a systemic infection such as sepsis, hepatitis or other serious illness, consult your doctor before feeding your baby. Eliot explains that, in most cases, even mothers with infections can breast-feed, but some infections can be passed to the baby.

Im pretty sure you cant use the milk still. If you apply a warm towel to your nipples and your able to keep him off your breast you should heal within two days. If both are bleeding try to keep him off both but if only one just feed with the opposite one for a day or two
