please help! i noticed a pea sized lump in my right breast and i breastfeed what do i do?

I breastfeed my three month old son, he only gets me i dont pump... and today my right breast felt bruised now i noticed a small pea sized ball on the side of the right breast.. im wworried. Should i not feed my son on the right side now? What is it? What should i do? Help please

I would suggest getting checked by a doctor, but by the short description that you gave (tender, small lump), I would think that it's quite possible that it's just a clogged duct and nothing to worry about.

You should always get unusual lumps checked out, that's just a good policy. But I seriously believe that it's probably just a clogged duct and nothing to worry about. Continue breastfeeding as normal, there's a good chance it'll clear up by itself in a few days and baby can actually help with that (the suction can get things moving again). Either way, it wouldn't be harmful to baby to keep feeding on both sides.

But definitely talk to your doctor. If it IS a clogged duct, you don't want it to get infected. That could cause a whole nother can of worms.
