So I'm a first time mom and my little one wouldn't latch for 6 weeks. Well in those six weeks I pumped everyday two or three times a day producing anywhere between 16-24 ounces(4-8 4ounce bottles). Now that she latches I find that she doesn't stay latched for long and I can't pump enough milk. I don't want to use formula what so ever. I've tried mothers milk tea... It's not really working what should I do???

Pumping is NOT an accurate depiction of supply. Pump output decreases over time because of supply regulation, which is a GOOD thing.

How are diapers? If she's getting enough diapers, she's getting enough milk.

Hi,
I remember when I had my daughter I was so worried because I wasn't producing enough milk either, and believe me you are doing great. Remember that the more you pump the more milk you will produce and drink a lot of water. I also remember my friend gave me a product from a natural store I guess its something similar to the mothers milk tea you mentioned and this help. Good luck!

Some moms are able to pump a little extra for storage... but really if you're pumping and you're able to get enough for each day... then you are doing extremely well!

She definitely has diapers wet and poopy. I'm able to pump what she needs for the day and night but shouldn't I be able to pump a little extra for storage?
