Pumping issues

My daughter is two months old and I had to start supplementing her feeds with expressed and/or formula at six weeks because she wasn't putting on enough weight. My first issue is with pumping, I am using the Medela Swing electric pump and I'm not sure if this is normal but it will stop pumping anything out until I reposition it. And when it stops coming out all together I can squeeze my boob and milk will still come out very easily, from multiple holes so I feel like I'm really not getting everything out when I pump and it bothers me. I usually get around 90mL (3oz) if I haven't fed or pumped for several hours. I feel like I have a really good supply but struggle to get it out (I'm pretty sure my daughter has latching issues so she's no help haha)

You drinking lots of water? And I know nothing about pumps, but if it stops unwell you reposition it, sounds like a false safe built in to the pump. And you still have milk maybe it's because it got all it could from the pressure it's set at, so it didn't give you purple nipples = sucking to hard
