ok soo i am having issues pumping with my other children around. they argue alot and are in and out of what ever roomi go into. i can only pump about 2 oz when they do this. but im fine when they arent around and its quite in the house. i only pump when we have to go somewhere and i cant bf there. im VERY well endowed and it is too hard to feed infront of others. Anyone have advice on having a good pumping session when the kids are around?

Well clearly being stressed is affecting your pumping. So I would make a rule, while your pumping no argueing, jumping off the walls, or anything you find stressful or they can go to their rooms and sit on their bed or what discipline you feels is appropriate for disobedience in this situation. You could also let them watch 15 minutes of TV, have them play a game quitely, listen to music, clean their rooms or do chores, play in the backyard, read, color, or something else at least simi quiet so that you can relax and pump successfully. Also, maybe you listening to your favorite music and breathing in and out or making the atmosphere more 'your style' while you are breastfeeding to drown out the kid noise in your brain.... maybe you can explain what is going on to the kids and ask them if they can help you help the baby eat by doing something or being quiet for just 15 minutes. They might feel excited to help. Hope this helps *smile*
